Week 11 Waiver Wire Adds

Below are my Week 11 waiver adds. We are getting close to the fantasy playoffs so now is the time to begin to prepare if you are already in contention. If not, take your team one week at a time to make a run. I may have another article out tomorrow about pickups you can make to prepare your team for the playoffs. Bye weeks won't be as heavy as it was last week but it will still leave some times scrambling for options. As always I will be using ESPN ownership projections. Good luck to everyone this week and don't forget to check who your leaguemates have dropped tomorrow morning.
QB:
Derek Carr (36.6%)- If you need to stream a QB this week I think Carr will be your best option. Before last weeks performance, he had 3 straight games with multiple touchdown passes. It will happen once again against the awful Bengals who just let Lamar Jackson kill their secondary. This team has shown nice glimpses during the season and I think they should be able to put a ton of points on the Bengals. Luckily if you are needing to stream QB next week as well Carr gets a matchup against the Jets.
Kyle Allen (10.2%)- Allen gets a nice matchup against the Falcons who have allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to the position. Don't be wavered by the strong performance by the Falcons last week, I don't see it happening two weeks in a row. Allen has a ton of weapons around him and hopefully can get DJ Moore in the end zone this week. He has been pretty serviceable as a streamer since week 6 other than the hiccup against the 49ers.
Sam Darnold (11.5%)- He worked out just fine last week but I won't lie, I am a little nervous about him in week 11. The Redskins have allowed the 14th least amount of fantasy points to QB this year. The Jets have looked bad but have some solid weapons around them. If you are really in a bind I think you can still stream Darnold this week. Don't expect a huge breakout game though.
RB:
Brian Hill (1.1%)- It looks like Devonta Freeman will be missing some time but I think he will for sure miss this weeks game. This leaves Hill as the starting RB. The coaches have shown they have trust, giving him 21 touches. Even against a stout run D, he still managed to have a decent day. The panthers have allowed the 5th most fantasy points to opposing RB. Hill will be given a shot in a nice matchup and is my number one waiver add this week. I will be trying to snag him in a few leagues where I am in need of a RB this week.
Derrius Guice (38.5%)- Hopefully you got him early so you won't have to worry about the mad dash to get Guice this week. I have him stashed all over my redraft leagues. He should be returning to action this week, after a IR stint. I believe he will be given the starting job and should even get some nice work in the passing game. I do think Peterson will still be in the mix, but Guice will lead the team. This run offense has a nice upcoming schedule as well.
Raheem Mostert (4.9%)- It is very possible that Breida will miss time in the near future. Although we have seen him play through a tremendous amount of injuries. If he is to miss time, I don't believe the 49ers will give the whole backfield to Tevin Coleman. It's just not what this team has done all year. Mostert would get a ton of work and would be startworthy if Breida were to miss any time. The 49ers seemed to want to give him a ton of touches late in the game on their Monday night thriller against the Seahawks.
JD McKissic (16%)- Here is another guy who should benefit from an injured teammate. Ty Johnson could very well miss next weeks game, which gives McKissic another opportunity for touches. He will be more involved in the passing game, which helps more in PPR leagues. The Lions get the Cowboys this week who have given up the 5th most receptions to RB this year. If McKissic is given the majority of carries along with passing down work, he will be a solid play for week 11.
Kalen Ballage (27.6%)- It's gross considering how bad he was last week, but he still is a starting RB. He got 24 touches last week but couldn't do anything with them. This amount of touches will lead to some fantasy production but I am not really expecting much. Although like I said he is a starting RB and there are a ton of fantasy teams out there that desperately needs a RB who will get 15-20 touches weekly.
HANDCUFFS: Everyone needs to get their RB handcuffs this week. You needed to do it a few weeks ago so hopefully you did. I'm talking high end handcuffs who would have tremendous value if the RB in front of them were to miss time. Even if you don't have these RB, it may be a smart move to roster the handcuffs anyways because you just never know. My must add handcuffs are; Alexander Mattison, Tony Pollard, Latavius Murray, Jaylen Samuels, Ryquell Armstead, Malcom Brown, Jamaal Williams Kareem Hunt, Darrell Williams. You may need to even trade for some of these guys.
WR:
Davante Parker (44.6%)- He now has at least 4 catches and 50 yards in his last 4 games and sits a top of the WR group with Preston Williams down. He was on my list last week and will more than likely be on here a bit more. I do think his fantasy value will only come if Ryan Fitzpatrick continues to be under center. He has one of the best upcoming schedules for WR in the league. He is going to be very flex worthy moving forward.
Darius Slayton (12.9%)- I do kinda like Slayton a little more than Parker but here is why I have Slayton as my number 2. We still don't know the status of Sterling Shepard and whether or not he will be missing the year with a concussion. If I were to know that Shepard was fully out for the year I would move him above Parker. I wouldn't even blame you for going Slayton of Parker, I may switch it up among all of my leagues. He had a breakout game last week with 121 yards and 2 touchdowns. He does have a bye this week but he also has an amazing upcoming schedule after the team plays the Bears in week 12.
Deebo Samuels (10%)- With Emmanuel Sanders getting injured on Monday night, Samuels took over as the top WR and shined. If Sanders is to miss some more time, Samuels is going to be huge for fantasy teams moving forward. I even think with Sanders back, Samuels will see an uptick in targets than he did earlier in the year. It seems like Jimmy G has needed to throw more and with their upcoming schedule, I don't see that changing.
Kenny Stills- Kenny Stills off of the bye, should be healthy and ready to go. He should take over as the WR2 for the Texans with Will Fuller and Keke Coutee injured. This is a high powered offense and Stills should be getting a ton of work, opposite from Hopkins.
Hunter Renfrow (7.9%)- Since I like Carr a lot this week, I have to like his pass catchers as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see Carr throw for 3 touchdowns and I'm thinking Renfrow could be on the end of one of those. This is a terrible defense and will be exploited all game. I think Renfrow is a nice PPR stream if you are scrambling for options this week.
Auden Tate (27.5%)- I like Tate this week against a soft Oakland secondary in which the Bengals will be needing to throw. The Bengals defense is awful so Ryan Finley will need to throw all game long. With AJ Green still sidelined, Tate will continue to get his share of targets. Here is another low end streaming option you could use in a bind this week.
TE-
Jacob Hollister (3.9%)- You can't use him this week but I view him as the best TE pickup if you are needing some help with the position. He now has 3 touchdowns over the last 2 weeks and had a 8 catch performance against the 49ers on Monday night. Russell Wilson seems to really like him and with the injury to Tyler Lockett, Hollister could continue to have these big games moving forward.
Darren Fells (26%)- The injures to Fuller and Coutee also leaves the door open for Fells to get some work his way. He has 6 touchdowns on the season and has some nice upside in PPR leagues. He is a little volatile in his catches, but has the type of upside to catch around 6 catches. I am strongly considering picking up Fells in replacement for Austin Hooper.
Noah Fant (8.8%)- Here is the other guy I'm deciding between in place of Hooper. I own Hooper in a few leagues so I may very well split the difference with my teams but I think Fant is the more athletic player. Fells is just on a far better offense. We saw Fant breakout before the bye, but I would really like to see his catch totals increase. I am hoping this offense will still be manageable with Brandon Allen moving forward.
Dallas Goedert (26.3%)- It is generally hard to trust backup TE week in and week out, but Goedert has looked great over the last few weeks. Ertz has kind of taken a back seat lately, but had a nice game 2 weeks ago. I will be going after Fant and Fells because in most of my leagues, Goedert is actually not available. I do like his upside more than both of those guys.
OJ Howard (44.6%)- I feel obligated to put him on here after last weeks game but don't forget it was against the Cardinals. The worst team against opposing TE. Moving forward it will yet to be seen if his role is to increase. You are risking getting a complete dud each week you play him, but that is the case for most TE.
Mike Gesicki (12.3%)- He didn't have the type of game I was expecting last week but like I said about Parker, the Dolphins have an amazing schedule to end the year. Gesicki has shown some flashes a few games this year and if Fitzpatrick stays under center, I think would be ok to start moving forward. It's always a dart throw with this range of TE.
DEF:
Jaguars (55.6%)- If Brissett is out, they are my favorite stream.
Raiders (1.3%)
Jets (21.4%)
Redskins (8.5%)
